Dave Metcalf

I’ve been taking photographs for most of my life, drawn primarily to the landscapes that surround me, and classic architecture both near and far.

I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, but most summers, I spent time at our family cabin in northwest lower Michigan. There I fell in love with the landscapes, the lakes, and the life. After my 35 yer college teaching career, I retired to the upper midwest, to Baraboo.

I’ve been taking photographs most of my life, primarily focusing on the landscapes nearby. But, I’ve also been lucky enough to do some traveling. In this exhibit, I present images from some of my trips elsewhere. I include landscapes from Iceland, Arizona, France, and Spain.
